Let's See Your Semi-Custom Tikka Builds

Have killed several bucks with this rifle and it is also the most accurate and best feeding rifle I’ve ever owned. 30-06 stainless T3x. I had it bedded by Tumbleweeds Custom Guns in a Stocky Hunter stock. I didn’t love the fit direct from Stocky’s and as you can see Mark’s bedding is impeccable. Also first go with UM rings. I can’t imagine I’d go back to anything else.

Little slow with ELD-X but the rifle is the most consistent accuracy wise I have ever owned. Packing up for Mule Deer.

That looks really good. Did you happen to do an accuracy test before and after bedding the rifle? And if so, did it improve?

Rifle was dead nuts with the factory stock and 180 TTSX. I switched stocks to save weight and went with Eld-x. I never shot the stocky without bedding because in my opinion the fit sucks without bedding. It clearly rubbed one side of the barrel. It drops in like a custom rifle now with equal clearance on both sides.

This rifle is a factory 6.5 PRC Tikka T3x Lite cut to 20" and threaded 9/16-24, set in a Stocky's Rokstok. I'm shooting a Silencerco Omega 36M suppressor fitted with an LS Wild cover, mounted on an Area419 Hellfire adapter. The stock is fitted with a Lumley Arms (Arctic) bottom metal and an Unknown Munitions bolt knob/handle. An SWFA 3-15x42mm gen 2 scope sits atop, mounted in UM medium rings and bubble level. I am currently using a Wilderness Systems Langlois Rhodesian Sling, but would prefer something with a non-slip shoulder pad.

I was having difficulty getting behind this rifle, until I added a Limbsaver Slip-on recoil pad to add some LOP to the stock. Looks like this stock needs to go back to UM for a spacer kit. This rifle comes fresh from the field with a "custom" ding in the objective bell and a touch of surface rust finish, after harvesting a spike bull 😁.
