It's great. I've had it for about 2 years now and the process for getting it was a real pain. Just dropped in the barreled action and torqued it up and has been shooting great. I've taken it on a spring bear hunt in Idaho and several whitetail hunts and it's been great. AG is taking orders for inletting now, which should make the process of getting one smoother...

I am intrigued by the Rokstock and may try one of those out for my other Tikka when orders open back up.
Thanks.

About the only ones I’m considering are the ag, rokstock or a manners

Which manners did you go with?

I purchased the Manners EH1TK - Factory bottom metal. My hesitation with it was that it didn't have an adjustable cheek piece. turns out it's a non issue with the scope / ring / base combo that I am running.

If you change your mind later on, Joe Ducos (@stockdoc1968 on Instagram) can convert your stock to one with an adjustable cheek piece using KMW hardware for better than Manners can.

I actually called Joe about that and he mentioned he would be able to install an adjustable cheek piece on an EH1TK if needed. Nice to have that option!

Prior to that, I called Manners to see if they would be able to build my stock with an adjustable cheek piece and I was told no... I thought that was interesting.... But maybe it's more work than its worth for MCS to do that in house???

🤷‍♂️

Both Manners and McMillan have been known to say that they can't do things that they've always done before. It's almost like they're so big that they can't be bothered by your special requests. Manners also can't seem to get a LOP correct no matter what their website states or how often they try to correct it.

The cheek piece stocks are a different mold. Not just surgery on a stock, as far as I can tell from the one I owned.

They will do a UL cheek piece on an eh1. I have one with and one without.

Anything 50mm or less I don’t feel the need for anything with an eh1. That said I don’t like a lot of cheek pressure either.

I asked Manners if they'd install an aftermarket rail for me (that has R-Lock, since Manners doesn't offer one with R-Lock) if I sent the rail to them when I ordered the stock. They told me I'd have to do it myself. Just a very odd experience and it confuses me why they don't have R-Lock options in the first place.

Manners sucks.......especially customer service, or one off stuff. Their lead times are also horrible. They make a decent stock, but as someone else pointed out, Stevie Wonder cuts their LOP, it's rarely to spec.
