Waiting for the billet pieces to finish machining, but here’s a preview of what our bottom metal looks like, this was the first prototype that we had 3D printed for mockup purposes. Notice the sweeping radius and how it matches the stocks curve behind the rear tang? Also the mag is recessed into the bottom metal to hide the rear lip of the mag body to keep the whole appearance good “flow”.

My 7 saum is all done! Cerakoted burnt bronze on barrel and action, black on bolt and bolt handle. Fde transition McMillan game warden stock, mountain tactical bottom metal, trigger spring, and bolt shroud, 26 inch x caliber barrel with 8” twist, shooting 180gr ELDm at 3035fps. Topped with the leupold mk5! Loving it so far, already hit as 1010 yards.

I did. Shot it then rebarreled and chambered to 6.5 PRC with the same color of Crerakote.

This is exactly what I'm looking to do with mine. Only with a Proof Carbon barrel. Who did the work and what's your COAL with the 180's. (Same bullet I wanna shoot)

Not so custom yet, I have several rifles ranging from 5k custom builds, to this one, a fire sale 6.5cr Tikka that has a 24" barrel I picked up for 420$ new. I put an elay precision trigger spring in, mounted some Hawkins 25moa hybrids and installed the March 3-24x42, rifles is still under 8#. Ordered a terminator t1, and ag composites alpine hunter stock for it. Have 7 boxes horn precision hunter ammo to break it in with, and 100pcs lapua srp brass to fireform and develop hand loads. I plan on shooting the 135 jlk that I bought a while back! Will update with new pics as the build comes along.

Haven't shot it yet, will be putting 7 boxes of precision hunter 143 through it tomorrow for break in.

The scope I have on mine is really similar to that March scope, so far no issues with brass clearing the scope so thinking it will be fine.

One of my favorite things most folks take for granted is the horizontal eject trajectory of the tikkas. Even most customs suffer from a high eject angle and if you’re scope is too far forward it dings case necks or worse causes cases to bounce back into the action port.

Are the barrels Sendero or Sendero light? I’m building a 25 PRC with a proof research carbon with a Sendero taper . Was not sure if I could use low rings with a 50mm objective.

Does anyone know the weight of a T3X (270, 30-06, 25-06) minus the factory barrel? I'm talking receiver, stock, trigger, magazine - everything but the barrel? Thanks!
