I’ve got a small room in my house that is unused and that I am going to turn into a gear room after the season. I’m wanting to gather some ideas so let’s see what you guys are doing!

It’s possible to keep all your stuff in one room? I don’t think there’s a room in my house that doesn’t have at least one piece of gear.

Interested in the pics that follow.

I have things like stands and blinds and other gear in the garage, but I’m looking for something to keep clothes, guns, bow, fly fishing gear, backpacking gear, etc.

Something in this manner but I’m wanting to see more ideas:

Steel restaurant shelving on wheels with see through plastic bins. You can push them up tight together to save space and when you need anything you just roll them out and around as needed.

I have a whole bedroom that is my “gun room”. Custom built waist high bench the full length of one wall. A heavy metal desk on the opposing wall. Reloading/gun work is all done on the bench. Cabinets below and shelving built overhead above the bench. The closet is packed full of clothing. Mostly older stuff. All current clothing stays in 2 Rubbermaid totes that stack on top of each other. When I build a new house, I’ll have a room about 3 times the size of the one I have now.

Work in progress right now, that closet has all my camo clothes and boots in it. The garage has gear that’s too big for the shelves along with bow cases and rifle cases. I’ll be adding another set of shelves after elk season to put some late season gear in here as well.

Had a baby recently so gear room moved to man room. Shelves fit a Rubbermaid tote or two Tightly so lids r forced shut except for the top shelf it’s just for all the boxes my reloading stuff came in. More loose items fit in front of totes and stack of gear is getting a bench and mud room style unit built to hold as much of it as possible. Seats go back in 4runner. This is just one wall. Fishing rods still need an organizer. Stuff still stacked in baby’s room and in closet. All my hunting clothes r in walk in closet in house too. Had to move stack of ice chests to boat. Just not enough space for everything in one room.

Y'all organize stuff. I have most of a shop, half a garage and the several rooms with hunting crap.

No I'm not posting pictures, it's embarrassing.

Exactly. I’d love to neaten up all my gear, but I don’t think I want everything in one room for my wife to see! If you spread it all out it looks like less.

nope, but I have two rooms that catch most of my gear before and after season. During season is a different story.
