Let's see those 375's

Great to hear! Just scooped this used Gunwerks Skuhl 375 Ruger off Gunbroker and had it topped with a NF NXS 2.5-10 and added the Raptor can. Haven’t shot it yet but hope to get it dialed in the next couple of weeks and see it really eat in April when I go to Africa.

How'd this Skuhl do in Africa?

Cool .375 man. How's the stock in shooting off-hand?
Really not bad. Haven’t done it a ton. This is actually for deer in Iowa. It’s a blind gun hence the short barrel and suppressor. It’s not much fun on a bench unsuppressed but suppressed cuts the recoil in half (completely subjective). Nice little package in the blind for our obscure deer regs

Funny this thread came up, I've been looking at 375's again after selling a couple 375 JDJ's I used to have (one pistol and one carbine). I kept all of the Hornady 220 and 225 bullets I was using along with the dies and brass but not sold on doing another JDJ. Basically kicking the tires on doing a Contender carbine in 375 Win or 375 JDJ, a 375 Raptor barrel on a spare 700 action, or least likely, a Mossberg Patriot shooting a downloaded 375 Ruger.

This thread has been quiet for a while, so I figured I’d post a few pics of my .375 H&H. I picked this up on here on trade several years ago. It’s a custom, built on a trued Remington 700 action. 22” Broughton barrel with radial brake and a Jewel trigger. I’ve been playing around with this rifle quite a bit over the past couple weeks. I don’t necessarily have a need or practical use for it, but it sure is fun shoot and it’s an absolute tack driver. I worked up a load with 300gr Noslers and if I do my part it will damn near put 3 in the same hole at 100 yards. IMG_0553.jpegI’ll probably shoot a late season cow with it later this year.
