Let's see them hidden! Tines in the brush and the like

I walked up to a glassing point and immediately spotted the forky in the sun. Started glassing around for his buddies and picked out a fuzzy nub, turned out to be a decent buck.
Something spooked them and the bigger buck ran out in the open and bedded again. I was able to sneak around and get a better look at him.Screenshot_20251001_063621_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20251001_084426_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20250706_201043_Gallery.jpg

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking this thread since it was posted. Wife & I got skunked on opener, didn’t even see a deer… or so we thought?

Please evaluate my schizophrenia and report back… I wouldn’t be so convinced, if this wasn’t half a mile tops along the same hillside I took a buck on last year. Please tell me it’s a stump

Not very hidden here, but surprising how quickly they can sneak up on you. I went from being completely alone, to being front and center to two rutting moose in about 90 seconds. Range 50yds. IMG_0413.jpegIMG_0417.jpegIMG_0423.jpeg

Wasn't able to turn up the bull in this group but this cow was a nice find.

The day before the opener, he thought he was hidden. Watched him get killed 2 days later, much to my dismay

I also got nine. So what’s the correct answer? This would be a great photo to show new hunters what to look for when you’re glassing. An object lesson in how hard they can be to see.

It’s nine - at least that is how many I counted when they stood up. I didn’t get the 9th in the stand up pic though. All spike bulls hanging out 😆!

Late last October wind was perfect to set up just off a hot scrape. Got in, got a stand hung, got all set up and started glassing. Caught this dude in the binos bedded at just over 50 yards. Watched him for an hour before he stood up and slowly made his way right to me. First deer with the recurve.
Great shot.
