Lets see that pretty wood

I saved the life of a famous tiger hunter in East Punjab by killing a cobra with a Parker shotgun that I happened to be carrying at the time because we were hunting Himalayan snowcock. His wife ran out to the shed, sheared some sheep, dyed some wool, and made this rug for me in gratitude.

LLOL some cheap thing we got on Amazon. It does look really great though.

Lol, that's a great machine-made one then. They've made a pretty big leap in mimicking handmade ones. I've had a couple of handmade originals I picked up living in those countries, and spent a lot of time with a friend learning about the ins and outs of them. Very convincing just looking at the photo, wouldn't have been able to tell the difference without being able to look at the back, weave, tip-wear on the piling, etc. Either way, still a beautiful carpet.

you are so full of shit :ROFLMAO:
My grandma used to look at me sharply, and then she’d say “You’re so full of shit your eyes are brown”. Runs in the family… can’t help it….

I have a 17 lb terrier mix, pictured below. When people enquire as to his breeding my usual response is “He’s an American Swifferhund with roots going way back in the Chesapeake”. I’m surprised at how many people seem to believe it.

He’s actually a chihuahua/ Maltese mix. Which would make him a Chimalty? I think from now on I’ll say he’s a De’rier de Chimalty. (He is quite an ass sometimes)

Alrighty then, back to our regularly scheduled thread.
