This elk was on a private ranch. It was a trip i was invited on and could never afford on my own. For reference the longbow is a 62".

my bow for the water buff is a bob lee take down recurve 69#@28" with 890gr arrows. i draw about 26"
i was solo in my 12' aluminium dinghy for the tiger shark. i had a mate with me when i got the hammerhead. the tiger was a handfull by myself!

Just awesome! I recently got more serious with my recurve and those who can get it done consistently with a stick have my utmost respect!

No elk yet, I'll be working on that this September. Been using longbows and selfbows seems like forever. They work just fine if I do my part. 51#' bows, Forgewood Arrows and Journeyman broad heads.
