My 2021 public land bull. 2nd day of the season. I located him 1st morning but had to pull out due to bad wind direction. Came in under him 2nd morning early and caught him and his cows heading to their bedding area. Called him to me twice. Second time was the trick. I spaced placing my recurve in the pic I was so concerned with the temps and getting him packed out solo, but you can barely see it upper right corner leaning on a downfall. 35-ish yards, complete pass through, Abowyer single bevel broadhead, Toelke SS recurve, "Elkmaster"
My best bull to date.

Finally on the scoreboard after a 2 year slump! Tickled it's ears I think the first shot, then it gave me a second try and I center punched it in the head at about 15 yards! Been a couple years since I've seen any of these, saw 2 today, the other one was a lot lot smarter!

10/31. 15 yards, off the ground, frontal shot, buck walked right into it.. 60 yards recovery. 50# Toxocraft recurve, 550g arrow. 310 total up front with 250 cutthroat.

Shot this doe about 8:15 a.m. Got down, took a quick selfie, gutted her, and got back in the stand.

Second hunt here in Kansas on the farm I cut the Osage tree that this bow was made from and this big girl came into 10 yards! Port Oxford Cedar shafts with Magnus Classic Single Bevel head 524 gr total arrow weight. Bow came in at 47#@26”
