Let’s see photos of your hunting cabin

When I lived in western Ky I owned a piece of farm ground that was my private hunting preserve. I put a 10x14' Amish built shed on it for a hunting cabin. It had 8' walls. 2 windows, and a regular house exterior door as upgrades. A small wood stove provided all the heat I needed and I built in bunk beds and a counter top. If I had not moved away I would have added a canopy roof over the door. Running water was from a 5 gallon water container on a shelf over the counter and an outhouse was several yards out the door. It was everything I needed to be warm and comfortable whatever the weather. Cost for the shed at the time was about 2K. Sorry, no pics.

Kentucky. Bought a shell from Mennonites a nd put it on our hunting farm. My wife and I finished the inside.

Here’s ours in south central Alaska (Kenai Peninsula), although we don’t do a whole lot of hunting out of it.

I’ve bought a cabin just like yours to put on my farm in Alabama. Working on the logistics now.
I use this only for myself and for hunting. I kept it pretty simple. Its 9 hrs from my house so limited time for
Working on it and honestly im not that handy. Dry cabin. I heat with a generator and an electric oil filled heater. I have a powerstation that charges when the generator is on and if I not in need of heat it will run the cabin for about 2 days. Its only 15 minutes from town so the few times I ran out of water i just got water in town at a laundrymat. If I am there long enough to need clothes washed they do my laundry.
I need a bigger porch. It worked in my budget and has been working great for three years.

Deer camp in Michigan. Bought 20 years ago. Many upgrades over the years. Lots of outdoor maintenance too. No regrets ever.
