-my pet target load my uncle made 100s of that I have on hand: Hornady brass, 41g imr4350, 140sst. 2400fps and shoots easy and accurate
-135g DRT terminal shock, lapua brass, 45.5g N555. 2612fps avg

*out of 19” T3 with scythe

20 rounds of the 140 sst racking and shooting with no delay

I have somewhere between 600 and 700 rounds on my 6.5 Swede. Do any of you guys have an estimate where barrel life may run out? It’s a T3 with about half of the rounds at modern pressures and half at light Mauser pressure.

I would think it would be pretty much the same as 6.5CM, maybe slightly better in your case since at least half the rounds you’re shooting are much lower pressure than the creedmoor.

I have maybe 350-400 rounds through mine so I’m not speaking from experience- but my 128 year old Mauser is still shooting great and who knows how many rounds it has through it
