Good advertising, he lets take a day pack sheep hunting cause you know people that actually sheep hunt rock day packs, I think Jerry was a paid actor😂

This photo here screams, hey chat gpt can you make my backpack have a 5point elk head strapped in it. Not a single spot of blood to be seen on that backpack. And the load lifters are literally on her shoulder blades. 😂😂

It does appear to be just the head though. So not like it's crazy heavy. I think the lighting on the antlers matches the trees and having that one point face directly at the camera probably wouldn't be faked.

Personally, I'm not looking to carry the load that far off of my back though.

The picture posted earlier in this thread with the "meat" in that extended pocket seemed questionable.

you mean this picture.
lol those are some damn good game bags not a spec of blood soaked through  nor a single droplet any where's to be found on that pack.
not only that, if that furthest game bag has all deboned meat in it that always balls up the instant you stand up.

There are places you can day hunt sheep if you can draw that tag. Jerry probably had one.

@Marbles 150lb load is a tall order for any pack. I would be pretty certain that almost no one is carrying that efficiently. A few guys sure. Maybe you're one of them.
Efficiently no, it sucks, but I do throw it on every once in a while. My current pack is comfortable at 130 and that is my normal heavy training load. It is workable without pain, but not comfortable at 150. Not naming my current pack as I'm not trying to make this a my brand is better thing, but an it can be done thing.

My other pack brand is no longer comfortable around 90, but workable to at least to 110 (not gone heavier on that frame, unless I'm forgetting something).

A pack doesn't have to be able to carry that much, but if someone says it is the "best", it had better carry it well.

130, brotha, you're a f-in animal. I have not, and am not about to hang it up yet, but unfortunately, those days of that type of weight is in my past.

Thanks.

I worded that poorly and unintentionally oversold myself. The word normal gives the impression I do it frequently, but I don't train heavy year round, only 2-4 months a year. And "a normal..." would have been more accurate as heavy training bounces between 110 (2 sand bags) and 130 (adding a 20 pound dumbbell).

Just to give more context I'm also slow (10+ minute mile for running) and not powerful (230~ maxes out my ability on full depth low bar squats). I think I'm about nothing but slow twitch because 10~ pounds separates 1 rep max and being able to do 6+ reps on leg work.
