I've been hunting around there for 22 years now and have seen a garter snake one time it's pretty high too, that's in the 6-7k' neighborhood. Now the amount of mtn lions I've seen..

The storm broke and fog lifted allowing me to glass the evening. No deer spotted but it did turn into a fond memory.
