Stiff shooting competition, I had bought a belt buckle for the champ and each year we take it on a trip and shoot for it. It's fun and teaches the kids to focus on the shot. There getting really good these days.

October elk camp in Nevada. My son and brother sitting by the fire under the lean-to. We always do a drop camp and bring a big tarp, then build a lean-to out of deadwood poles for a place to get out of the weather.

Not my camp, but this was the emergency snow pit, my son and his climbing partner dug a few nights ago on Denali. They spent the night in it, in -20° temps, while gusting winds, upwards of 90 mph, blew over the top of them.
