Drove down to the hunt club after work. 32 degree night for a sleeping bag test. Hot chocolate, moonshine, and Doritos. Western Mountaineering Sycamore made the open back of the truck toasty warm.

Action shooter, looks like my mule deer hunt this past Oct. 5 day hunt one good day too hunt, one day rain, two days blizzard, hunted last day in knee deep snow. Only I sat in a hotel lobby during the blizzard. Going back 2023.

That photo, circa early 1980s, is a selfie before selfies even came to be known as such. Camera with Kodachrome 64 film & a 24MM lens, set with a 10 sec. delay shutter, was perched atop a flat rock

Ya... the day of 2" of rain and Roland didn't fly for 3 days.... yuck

It blows me away that a 3' tall wire fence that runs off 2 D batteries keeps a griz out... LOL!!

One of the best hunting trips I'll ever be on. Fogged in for four days straight and freezing our asses off in a tiny tent. The weather broke on day five and we both killed good bucks.
