Anyone try these out or know anything about them? My costco has them for $129 - seems like a good deal, but they are packaged up so I can't look at the glass.

You mean the Yosemite’s?
Nope, Yellowstone. Might be a Costco exclusive.

Well you learn something every day. Hmm. At that price, if that’s the budget, I’d give them a shot. Probably just a different BX-1. In that price range Vortex Crossfire is awful but Nikons are serviceable. I’ve found BX-4’s to be better than Meopta MeoPro’s, which have me taking Leupold more seriously these days. Those may be a peach, they may be bad. One way to find out? Doubt you’d lose much if you didn’t like them and wanted to move them on down the road.

Heck the is that a full harness and lens pen? Seems like a perfect budget starter kit.
Yes, it sure does. I found a someone who said they are the BX 2 lenses made specifically for costco. For the price I may have to go back today and pick up a pair to try out. The specs are below for reference.

My Costco has a similar pair (Ranier 10x42) similar package includes a knife as well, but the Binos weigh three pounds and the price is $179.99.
