These Ultravids are still some of the best glass out there. The more recent HD, HD+ will add subtle pop, but for the dough these earlier 'Vids are still stunning.
Heirloom glass worthy of passing down to your kid.

for eastern open woods hunting i prefer my Leica HD 7x42's over swaro 10x40 slc and 10x40 el's and even my 8x32 el's and these 8x42's are pretty darn close to the HD version. certainly a great value.
