Anyone know of an aftermarket cover or case for the Leica Televid 65 angled spotting scope? Internet searching is turning up very little. I would prefer a case that you can keep on the scope while using it. I've seen the Leica factory cases, but they are close to $300.

TIA

I'm actually in the market for a spotting scope and Leica is on top of the list, have you compared it to the other brands? Any bad things to say about it?

I have used it alongside a Vortex, Swaro and Zeiss. In my opinion it is as good or better than all of those and being able to attach the 1.8x doubler is awesome. The 65 mm objective will not perform as well as the larger objective lenses at dawn and dusk.

FYI - I heard Leica discontinued their OEM spotting scope cases.

Thought I would bring this back up... still looking for a neoprene or low profile spotting scope case for the Leica 65.

Oh man, I’m in the same boat. I have the angled 65 as well and can’t find a case. It looks as though Leica has discontinued the ‘ready’ case for the angled eyepiece 65 yet they still offer one for the straight 65.
My next move was going to be a call to Leica USA and see what they say.

Leica USA rep confirms that the case for the angled Televid 65 is discontinued and there are no immediate plans for one in the future.

Guys,
Outdoor Vision is just now completing design of a stay-on case for the Swarovski ATS 65. Next will be the STS 65. Following, possibly the ATX/STX. If the demand is there, we also intend to do the Leica 65. It is estimated to land around $79 vs. current options at $289. It is not one of those neoprene jobs either. Figured I'd toss that out. Thanks, Geoff
