For sale is an extremely clean 8x42 Leica Noctivid. Glass and body are flawless. Optically and mechanically excellent. Letting these go to make some room because I have way too many binoculars right now including 7x42 and 8x42 Ultravids, plus 10x42 Noctivids on the way...

Not an HD+, but I have compared these side by side with my 8x42 Ultravid BL (black leather). The Noctivid is a touch brighter, has a wider FOV with a bigger sweet spot, and the colors are a little more neutral. Colors in the Ultravid are a little more "warm and cozy". The Ultravid has slightly more pincushion distortion by design, which makes for very comfortable panning, and a very natural rendition of space/distance between objects. The Noctivid has just enough pincushion to prevent any weird angular magnification distortion (rolling ball effect) when panning.
