Leica HD-B 3000 review **Updated 11/26/19**

I looked at them at cabelas and the glass seemed at least as good as the conquests and trinovids.

Oh they’re better than Conquests.

I’m around quite a few people that understand how to focus, use, etc glass- but do not have any brand bias or real understanding of naming differences. If ballistics aren’t required fully 7-8 out of 10 prefer using the Geovid R over any other RF bino including Swarovski EL Ranges and Leica 3200. I do as well.
It is difficult to explain, but while I can tripod mount a pair of Geovid R’s and Swaro EL Ranges side by side and pick tiny differences out between them, and acknowledge that in some small ways the Swaros are “better”; we all still prefer glassing and using the Geovid R’s. They are just comfortable and easy to look through.

I’m in the group that Form is describing. I used to have the Revics and just didn’t love them. The glass wasn’t awesome to sit behind (coming from years of my favorite bino, the 8.5x42 EL), and my focus wheel was tight. Plus, I don’t shoot far enough to really justify ballistics in hunting scenarios.

I just got a new pair of Geovid R’s and much prefer them. They seem nicer glass than old
Conquests I had, and they’re just simple/effective.

Very helpful.

No on board ballistics points straight to the GPO Rangeguide IMO. Superb glass, superb RF, great company to deal with if there are issues.

If you want the lightest most compact package that has glass that’s very close to the R’s the 10x40 GPO’s are hard to beat. Range finder is super fast, I had no issues range aoudad at 1800 yards

Think they are 26oz’s

Agreed. Even the 10x50's are more compact than Geo R's. I've used Leica's enough I fail to see the lovefest for them.
