WTS Leica geovids 15x56 HD $1100 obo

I have a pair of Leica 15x56 HD geovids for sale. Rangefinding and they are the version that reads in yards. They range out to about 1000 yards. Includes the outdoorsman’s adapter ring. Have been hunted with and been in the field. Some lens swirls from cleaning that were there when I got them that do not affect view, but priced accordingly. These are great glass and have found a lot of animals and a chance to get alpha glass at a non-alpha price. They were sent back to Leica in June of 2021 to fix a stuck diopter and were repaired, gone through and cleaned. I’m not the original owner, bought them off coueswhitetail in 2019. Have case, no lens covers

I think $1100 obo is a fair place to start, but if I’m way off, let me know or send an offer. Would trade for swaro, meopta or tract 15x56 plus or minus cash.

Why are you getting rid of em and considering trading for a non RF bino?

Few reasons….I have a leupold TBR that ranges further consistently and is less picky about object reflectivity so the rangefinding capability was never my purchase reason. They RF but sometimes will read dashes and require an additional read or two. The leupold is good to go always.

The clarity is great but comparing the geovids side by side to a buddies swaro 15s HD or my Leica ultravids, the clarity is not as crisp. Any rangefinding bino outside the victory or EL (and even those but not to the same degree) are not going to be as crisp and bright as non RF just by virtue of extra elements being in the optic which is reasonable. I have an injury to my right eye and the RF HUD display is in the right tube as well.

My plan is to upgrade to SLC 15s. My teenage son hunts as well. If these don’t sell, I’ll still upgrade and they will go to him. Always been curious about meopta and have a pair of Tract 10x I love so would be willing to take a shot on those trade wise and see what I think, but they would go to him as well.
