Leica Amplus 6

Looking at a Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44i L-Ballistic 2 BDC MOA to go on a 22 creed I have coming. Be for woodchucks, coyote and crop damage deer.

Thoughts?

Iv got one with the L-4w. Its been great, tracks, holds zero glass is good.

How is the eye-box? And what other scope brand would you compare the Amplus to, or is better than?

Iv had a razor lht, vx5 and a zeiss v4 and I think it’s superior to all of those. The turret is crisp and positive mechanically which I really like. Not sloppy like the other 3 but not quite on par with the NF nxs. Eyebox is good

Puts Leupold VX5 to shame in all regards sans weight but the 4 or 5 oz weight increase is worthwhile. FOV is so large the 22” barrel is visible on low power. I don’t have a Nightforce to compare to. I second comments above.

I have a 6mm creedmoor build in the works and I was set on putting another Amplus 6 on that as much as I like it but the 3-18x50 NX6 has caught my eye, we’ll see.

Agreed. FOV is pretty killer on it too
