Leica 2800.com Battery

Anyone having issues with Leica 2800.com battery when connected to a kestrel? The thing has gone through like 2 or 3 batteries in only a couple days of shooting. I'm sure it's the Bluetooth but wondering if others have had the same problem or know of a fix. Firmware is up to date as well..

Are you turning off bluetooth after shooting sessions?

I loosen the battery cover on the rangefinder after each session. That combo drains batteries like no other.

Not turning off BT but I'm going to now. It burns through batteries like crazy.

That will do it..BT drains them like crazy. I don’t know if others are different. I turn it on to transfer a profile and that’s it, not connecting mine to kestrel.

Yeah I would be interested if other RF are like this as well? Sig, Revic, etc.
