I am a left handed shooter and I have chosen to shoot a right handed bolt action rifle and I don't plan on changing that. I would like to up grade my stock to a fiberglass one. I find it silly to buy a stock with a cheek rest on the wrong side. It would be great to find a stock that is for a right hand bolt, but built for a left handed shooter. I think this is unlike to exist. So the question is; is there any south paw shooters on right handed rifles and what stock have they up graded to?

There's plenty of stock patterns without a cheekpiece. I'd start with McMillan.

McMillan and Choate, depending upon what I was using the rifle for, would be my first two choices.
I went to strictly left handed rifles in my bolt actions after years of running a right hand bolt. If given the choice I'll never touch a right hand bolt again.

I am a left handed shooter who has struggled to find quality equipment for years. Many more options are avialble now than 25 years ago. Coincidently, I was getting an oil change yesterday at the local Ford dealer and read a fairly new NRA American Rifleman magazine. Craig Boddington, another lefty, wrote a pretty convincing article about this subject. He cited safety concerns having seen case ruptures and other issues. His contention was that a lefty should only shoot a left handed bolt for safety as well as proper operation. I would agree from my experience.

It always seems to feel like you are driving a British car with the steering wheel on the wrong side and it isn't quite "your" rifle.

As Ray mentioned your other choice is to buy a flat top stock and have it inleted. Bushmen stocks has a left hand lazaroni flat top for around $200. If you have a Remington rifle or clone LRI can do it for you. It is not cheap. That service is around $700. You could buy a left hand rifle for less.

I'm a right handed but left eye dominate so I shoot left handed. I have used right handed bolt actions for 40 years. Just can't get used to a left bolt. I have a few Boydes thumbhole left handed for right hand action stocks. They work for me. I also have some Manners T5s that work well. Ruger #1s work well also.

I am a lefty that has shot rh guns mostly all my life with no issues. in the prone or on the bench I actually prefer the rh bolt ,that said I always felt like I was carrying around a wrong handed rifle in some way. I have never had an issue with the factory stocks. you can also add a strap on check piece it will help feel more like it suppose to.
