Looking for suggestions on a left hand 6.5cm for my 13 year old daughter,I want it to last as she grows, any suggestions that are not single shots.

Tikka T3x and have the stock cut down to fit her. Lot's of factory take off stocks out there even in LH if she grows into a bigger stock in the future. You can always sell the cut down one in the future easily too.

I have a lefty t3x stock that has some holes drilled in the forend for a rail sitting on a shelf. If you end up with a tikka left me know. You can have it for the cost of shipping. Would be easy to cut down and put a pad on.

No left hand options for those guns. Would be nice if they did though....
Dang, I didnt look for the lefty part.

My dad and one brother are south paws. My dad has a T3X superlite in a lefty. It's a dime dropper. Might be a viable option. With all the aftermarket stocks available you could make one work. Or just buy a second factory stock when someone sells one, cut it down to fit her. A friend of mine did that for his son on a Ruger American. It doesn't sting much when the factory stocks are so inexpensive.

I'm in the same situation with my 13 year old son. He'll be getting a Tikka in 6.5CM by the fall. Nice enough rifle for him to keep as he grows into adulthood but not so expensive that I feel bad handing it to a teenager.

If I had a daughter/wife that was getting into shooting I would take a peek here. Not adjustable but the stock is specifically designed with women in mind. They make a Vanguard and Mark 5 in the Camilla.

That would be a really nice one too.

The Camilla is a poor design for shooting. It’s exactly everything a stock shouldn’t be. Every female I know that can actually shoot despises them. The stock design exaggerates recoil and muzzle rise, and makes the rifle much harder to control.

Probably accidentally quoted me, I was referring to the Browning X Bolt. between them and the Tikka (which is my first choice) are the two that I recommend to most people. lot's of different options for both and usually quite accurate.

Good info on the Camilla stock, I'll keep that in mind.

Yea sir I did. My experience is the same. Woman and children do tend to like X-bolts and of course Tikkas.

Go with a Tikka.
Take some off of the stock if needed.
Factory Tikka 6.5 Swede, with some quick hand loads at 500 yards, just using the ballistic reticle.
Dan on the rifle with his first three shots at 500 yards.

Dan doesn’t look like a youth. LOL

Savage with accu fit stock. Kind of a no brainer. Price is great, they seem to shoot, and having a gun that fits LOP and adjustable cheek height really helps.

This is the easy button. Spending a lot on a 12 year old's gun is foolish if he/she outgrows the stock and/or caliber every 2 years.

My Savage's all shoot even if they aren't pretty.
