Ray @ Xring sure did make it seem like the torque is real and noticeable between them.
up to double barrel life claim is massive. Even ~50% with shorter barrels is huge.
My(rudimentary) engineering mind suspects that all other things being equal, there would be some velocity advantage over fixed rate twist, especially at faster twists due to less total friction.
