SB 47 (which passed 92-8 in the Senate) reauthorizes the LCWF and provides permanent funding and was passed in the House 363-62. This was a true bipartisan effort, a rare event of late sadly.

I know both Montana Senators and our lone Representative were instrumental in getting this legislation passed.

Anyways, headed to the President for his signature :)

Permanent funding was a big win looking forward to seeing the signed into law. hopefully this something we can build on even further as it frees up resources from fighting this every four years.

Good to see it pass. Now we need to get it fully funded in perpetuity which may never happen. But, it’s a start.

The act that had it in it had a bunch of other crap in it too. It was part of the compromise. At least we got something out of it. A few good things actually.

But, 500K acres in AK is going private. Perhaps for a good cause, but going private. There’s a couple other things too.

Still, happy it went through and we can move forward on other things.

I have the untenable position of wanting all land from Maine to Alaska put into wilderness.

From Brownsville to browning. Quoddy head to la push.

The 49th and 50th states will be annexed to their rightful owners.

Furthermore been pushing my delegates to cap all currently producing wells, and ban oil new oil lease sales on public land. By all rights I'll walk on wooden shoes if I have to. (Sustainably harvested ones of course!) Oil companies own this country!! Quit shoving cheap gas down our throats!! Foods too cheap!

If one more person tries to pull natural resources out of my recreational honey hole, environmental jihad will be declared. Steel toe boots and FRC, the new uniform of the modern Schutzstaffel.
