Yes I did… shot several groups under 1” for 5 shots with GMM. It’s a shooter.

Looked like you were open to swapping to a winchester model 70.

I have a model 70 and am considering picking up a LAW if I can find one.

Was there anything you didn't like about the action or anything? pros cons idiosyncrasies?

I'm a fan of the rifle/action and the stock was perfect. Defiance and Winchester is still in business, LAW isn't, hence the use of Winchester actions.. Defiance has gotten stupid with a price outside of me considering them again for a build. I have 2 defiance actions and they are not "better/smoother" than the LAW...

I had been thinking about LAW because it looks like they're a rem700 footprint and so it might be easier to get a stock inletted for it.
I have a Winchester model 70 in work now and ended up having to compromise a fair bit on the stock because there are so few options.
Definitely with you on the defiance: 3k for their CRF is too rich for my blood...
