Late season pressure, early season impact?

Just curious what everyone’s opinion is here.
I’ve picked half a dozen drainages that I would like to target this week. By design, none have roads into them from the bottom, and some don’t even have trails (marked at least)
Some of them DO have roads coming down from the top, as if often the case in the breaks. These roads are buried in snow now and I’d guess they will be until late May or even June.
My question is, how much impact will that pressure in June have on a hunt in April? Will that year-after-year pressure on bears moving up in elevation cause them to abandon those drainages entirely and den elsewhere? Would you scratch them off the list?

i cant answer for your place but i noticed that bear at not living on a small piece of land and adjust where they are depending of the time of the year. if there is also a known food source like berries and fish or caribou/moose calving area you will find them. denning is way different and when the bears are out they still have a plug and will need some specific plants/grass to digest and remove it. again if that can help. i wont rule a place because there is no activity at one moment or another ...

here in the west you need to find slopes with flowers and green grass and then spot and look the areas and you will have some nice surprises.

good hunt
