I have late season (spring I guess you could call them) E Stott Mountain Tags for antlerless Elk. We have ran into one herd and have seen a few more elk on cameras. I just can't seem to be in the right place at the right time. Is there any advice on hunting cows in this area? Also, last weekend went up to the top of Fanno Ridge (or attempted too). Ran into 2feet of snow and had to turn around. This is the first elk hunt I've been on, any advice for location, tips, etc. would be fantastic.
