Your Input Sought for Big Game Quota Setting
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) urges sportsmen and other interested parties to become involved in the big game quota setting process by providing their input.
Every year, all big game quotas are reviewed and adopted by the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners through input by NDOW and County Advisory Boards to Manage Wildlife (CABMW).
Each CABMW will meet in April or May before the May 9 Wildlife Commission meeting to discuss big game quotas. You are urged to attend your respective County meeting and provide comments and suggestions. CABMW members discuss these suggestions in an open forum and makes recommendations to pass on to the Board of Wildlife Commissioners.
Please take the time to review the Department recommendations and support material on big game quotas and attend your county’s next Wildlife Advisory Board meeting.
