LaRue Tactical MBT-2S

Anyone have any experience with these 2 stage triggers? I’ve built a couple ar with mil spec parts and Im wanting to upgrade.

I have a couple. Really like them and think they are the best value in an aftermarket trigger. Very high quality and consistent.

I just put one in and it is a good trigger. It’s not as good as my Giessele or my Knights Armament, but better than milspec.

Agree with above, good trigger at a good price. Not as nice as Geissele.

I’ve got three, and also two of the comparable Geisseles.

The Larues may lack a bit of the smoothness of the Gs, but unless you shoot them back to back or really often it is not too noticeable.

I use the Larue exclusively now. For the price difference it is a no-brainer. I’ll save the hundred or so buck difference and buy a better barrel.

The MBT's are good triggers at a good price. I own a few of them as well as a few G triggers. For my uses, the MBT is the better value trigger.

Every build of mine gets the MBT2 “curved” trigger now. It’s fantastic. Just as good (if not better) than the Geissele SSA-E, for 1/3 the price.

I do still love geissele triggers, I just see no reason when the Larue can be had for under $100.
