I have a 22" frame and am thinking about buying a Fulcrum for it. On the website it says it wont be as aesthetically pleasing on a 22" frame, does anybody have experience with running a larger bag on the 22" frame? Any pictures? I appreciate any help you can give, thanks!

It's honestly kinda weird.

My GF has a 22 frame but the current bag options arent really what I'm looking for to put on it . Ive tried putting a mountain Warrior and EMR2 just the see how theyd work out.

The bottom is gonna hang low and doesn't stay tight to the frame.

The second option is to fold the bag over at the bottom an mount the metal tri-glides to the common loops mid way up the frame. This gives the bottom of the bag a football shape. It doesn't stand up well if you try to brace it on your knee to get into the pack. You also have to fold over all the loose material that keeps wanting to untuck from the back, and you loose the bottom delta strap connection points ...

I can throw up some pics of the EMR2 tomorrow. But I haven't posted anything since Photobucket went down. How does one post photos now ?

My fulcrum fits really well on my 28” frame, I don’t think I’d try it on a 22”.

I backpacked with a Reckoning on a 22" frame and it worked fine. To keep the bottom of the bag from hanging too low I ran the bottom compression straps through the common loops on the bottom of the frame. I positioned the extra material near the bottom of the bag.

Might be worth having PODS8 sew you something or maybe seeing if he can modify a bag you like (if that's feasible).

I'm currently working with pods8 to permanently affix the camp bag to the nomad1 back panel and add all the normal frame attachment hardware.. also hoping to add some gen 2 flair via pocket mounted compression straps and vertical pocket zippers ... I get back to you once we finalize the plan and get it done.

This will fit specifically the 22 frame

Okay, that is what I was afraid of. In all honesty the Nomad is probably the most versatile pack and it should fit fine, I just really liked having the main bag to use instead of attaching a pod or something below the nomad for day hunting. I appreciate the input. Lionhead, I am not sure how to post pictures, but if you figure it out I would love to see how it looks!

We have a Woodsman on my wife's frame and it fits sweet. Also the Apollo fit well, Cargo Panel worked but was a little sloppy looking
