Many companies are going that way because sil-poly doesn't absorb water and stretch like sil-nylon. Fabric strength and tear resistance used to be a concern for sil-poly, but newer ripstop sil poly is now on-par with sil-nylon.
Any suggestions besides tipis for large sil-nylon tent? I've seen the courthouse and warbonnet tsunami. Looking for more of the like

I have a fair amount of experience with hot tents, having both used a wall tent for years and a smaller Seek Outside Redcliff for a handful of seasons as well. I think the peak is 6'6", so most should be able to stand up in it. The circle top is right at about 6', so you'd have whatever that pi-r-squared for a 6' diameter circle worth of standing room. Not enough for jumping jacks, but plenty for most of usHow's the headroom? Can you stand up fully in it?
