Thats REALLy tough to call.....I would have to say closer a TRUE 8.25...lol
I can wear some 8's and some I can't. These are just big enough that they would give me blisters.

I have no idea on milage. wife picked them up in the bargain cave for 100 bucks. we live four hours away from a Cabelas, so they are not going back....lol
I wasn't with her so I couldn't try them on. I felt for sure they would fit, but they are a touch big. If they don't sale I will keep them for later season when I can wear thicker socks and then they will work out fine I believe....
