The way that toe area is designed has it collecting debris all the time even with gaiters on. It’s not particularly easy to clean either.

These suckers have become my go to boots. They are insanely comfortable. From the woods, field, out and about and anything else. I love them. I hope the 3’s are just as comfortable. I thought my Schnees Alpines were comfy but the Lapponias blow them out of the water. Love these suckers.

I’ve got a set of the originals and they are still going strong. I’ll have to check out the 3rd generation

I use my Lapponias all year round for shed season and into cooler hunting seasons, I definitely will be getting another pair when these wear out

Has anyone sent these in to get re-soled? How long does the process work and what's it cost?

Are they any different than the original lapponia? I have the lapponia 2’s and have been extremely impressed so far, over a full year in and still completely dry, and I have put a lot of miles on them

I think I would want the new lites rather than the lapponia 3, i just don’t want to compromise longevity of the boots uppers. Other than the soles, are they like the original lapponia?

Between the zamberlan salathe gtx and lapponia, it’s the perfect combination for me, and both hold up really well (I still hunt in xtratuffs fairly frequently too when there is a lot of standing water)

The lites are a touch shorter in height but otherwise seemed nearly identical to my Lapponia 2's. So similar I actually returned them. They were only 1.4 oz lighter for the pair than my Lapponia 2's.
