Ditto- Interested in your recipe. I settled on 42.8g of RL-16 with a 142g ABLR COL of 2.86. Avg velocity is 2788 with .216 4 shot group at 100yds. More than pleased with the load, only thing that could have been better was the SD which was 11. My other loads were 7 but groups were .500 larger.

I'm kinda new at the reloading thing but kinda weird I'm getting about 90fps faster out of the same powder charge. I have an xbolt western hunter w/ 22 inch barrel. I'm using Hornady brass and 42.8 is just starting to compress the powder. Also a CCI 210 primer. I get that there are some differences but 90 fps? I'm using a magneto speed chrono.

i think I just have a slow barrel. I'm only getting 2550 out of the factory Hornady’s.

That’s all I got with my RAP too. Not just you

I personally always load and test towards the high side of the node, based on the fact that my hunting is done at cooler temps then my reloading. Even though I only use temp stable powders, this has always worked well for me. And I've been able to confirm this while shooting 5 shot groups at both temperatures.

I would load groups with 43.6 and fine tune your groups with seating depth. Chrony those tests also.
Are you using new brass or fired and resized?

Somewhere in the 43's is where you should land and accuracy should determine that.

CCI 200 or fed 210? I’m using the cci. Couldn’t find the fed 210 in town.

Like some others here, I like to load on the upper end of the charge range. Assuming no pressure signs, I would probably load 5 at 43.8gr and see what that gets me. Fine tune with cartridge length if I like what I see out of those 5.
