I had a hard time plucking that bird! I am over the taxidermy thing though and don't mount anything these days! Have some feathers to tie flies with.I hope it’s going on the wall!

I get it. When I was young and single my house looked like a natural history museum. As I’ve aged my taste has changed and I have gifted all but a few mounts to friends or display them at my office. The few I still have are mostly ducks and geese, and there are a few more waterfowl species on my list. As far as big game all I have left at home is my bison euro and a giant black bear rug I can’t bring myself to part with. How did your late goose go?My sons dog Ruger with a nice bull. We had a pretty darn good season here in California. Now waiting to go late goose hunting next weekendView attachment 514016
