KY elk draw

Anyone get lucky and pull a KY elk tag today? I was unable to watch the live drawing, so I’ll have to wait until the 13th to see if I hit the lotto.

We have the same here in AR. I think the deadline is the end of the month. What's the strategy in KY for hunting them? Here, you basically need to have permission from the locals because the elk are in and around a lot of private land. Not a ton of long range opportunities as I imagine it's quite similar in KY.

checking in with my Bull Week 2 Unit 3 draw this year. Doing DIY, scouted the last two weekends with probably two more trips before the hunt. Only 3 hour drive away from Louisville.

lot of ATV traffic and bumping in to elk outfitters also scouting on the mines where the game wardens say to target. Glassing doesn't really seem useful, just a whole lot of covering trails and hiking ridgetop benches looking for sign (and second-guessing if I should be down in the creekbeds instead).
