First post and long time lurker, live and spend a lot of time at higher elevation in Colorado, as we all know the temp and weather at elevation can swing wildly, for glassing, camping, hunting and anything else at altitude which of these would you choose if money were not an issue? I have all active insulation, base layers and everything else taken care of, I do not have a bomb proof set up for static extreme cold and wind, any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. I am leaning towards the burner, but my lizard brain is saying the gale may be more versatile. This is probably more of a want than a need but I’ve had to bug out of some extreme spots before and would like the ability to stay if I so choose. I run hot but I hate being cold, and it takes me forever to re warm.

Gale force is as bomber as it gets. It’s heavy. I use it for north Idaho winters. It will last forever.

The burner is lighter, warmer, and packs smaller. And more expensive.

For a do it all piece between the 2. I would buy the gale force.
