Kuiu Yukon sizing compared with Guide jacket?

For those who have tried both:

Is the yukon and guide jackets sized the same, or is the yukon roomier?

I just got a Guide jacket, for Cold weather, and will swap towards a size larger, as I find the current a tad too tight.

The Yukon on the other hand will probably fit very well, if it is a bit roomier than the Guide...?

Guide jacket fits tight and Yukon is very generous. If your planning on running XL guide run a L Yukon.

Correct. Will upsize Guide from L to XL. I'm 6ft 205lb.
Will try Yukon L, as I usually only have one merino layer, sometimes two, when on the move. Superdown to stay warm while glassing..

I have the Guide and Yukon. To me they have the same amount of roominess. I did have to go a size larger on both (usually a 2xl, but in Kuiu I need a 3xl) to get the fit I like.

When I bought my Yukon I was your size and it fit great. I'm a little lighter now and still fits. It does have some stretch unlike a lot of rain gear which allows your to run it more fitted.

I run both. Similar sizing on each. I go 6'3 210 and wear an XL in both, with plenty of room for a puffy underneath if necessary but far from baggy.

Getting different advice here now....:)

To compare, what are Your pant sizes? I have the Yukon L (36) and find it roomy? Hence why I thought L jacket would fit better afterall.

I have both in size medium. The Guide jacket fits me perfect and I can layer a merino shirt and puffy vest under it. The Yukon is a great jacket but it's so much bigger. I also had an original Chugach jacket in size medium and the Yukon is even more roomier than it.

I need a large in the Yukon jacket but I am borderline for having enough room in a large for the guide jacket. An XL guide jacket had too much room in the belly. I no longer own a guide jacket just because I couldn't find that happy medium size wise.

I just got my Yukon jacket today. I ordered a large and to me its to big. I own a guide jacket and a down and synthetic puffy in size large. I threw on a base layer with a puffy and threw on the Yukon and still quite big to me. I understand that you want some room so that way you don't compress your down if wearing that type of insulation. I'm concerned if I order a medium it may be to tight when layering. Not sure what to do fellas.

Order the medium you'll be fine. Trust me Yukon runs big order a size down unless you like sloppy fits.
