Looking at a mid temperature mid layer that is breathable.
Thoughts on the Versa since I have a 20% coupon....I already have more clothing than I need but can always use something like what it appears to be.....

Thanks!

I have one, my dad has one and I grabbed one for my fiance and we all love it. It is light (as all things Kuiu are) and very warm. As long as you aren't just sitting around, I would say you can wear it around in 30 temperatures and stay comfortable. It also blocks the wind pretty well. My only gripe with it is that it doesn't have any sort of cinch on the bottom so if you are thin it might be a tad wide. Other than that, I love this thing. I did buy it as more of a casual jacket so I cannot comment on the durability in the backcountry.

Have to second the above.
Lightweight and decently warm.
Wish it had a cinch on the bottom. I am a 34 waist and it is borderline moo-moo-esque.
I didn’t expect it to. But it has become my everday wear.

Assuming like most Kuiu I’ll need a large. 42” chest and 35” waist.

I bought a Large and have a 33" waist and a 41" chest and it fits me well...just a little loose around the waist...probably perfect fit for you though! It fits just like everything else Kuiu with the exception of the Guide jacket. That jacket is a little tighter under the armpits than the other jackets.
