Hi Guys - I'm considering the Kuiu Venture 1800 as a lightweight daypack for use out east hunting whitetails. Anyone have experience with the Kuiu Venture 1800? How has it held up? Durability of the 330D material is a concern of mine, as the multiflora rose thickets i hunt tear gear to shreds.

Thanks!

Chris

I’ve got 8 days busting brush in north Idaho with it and loaded it up and stressed the zippers fully.....held up very well so far, comfortable with up to 30 pds of gear and and has a sleek design fitting the torso nicely.......gets a thumbs up so far only downside I see so far is it is not a quite pack and will be noisy in the brush.....if a specific question ask away

Thanks Ross! Can you describe the internal frame a bit? is it 2 aluminum stays with a framesheet? Thanks!

When I open the internal pocket I can see a frame sheet about five inches wide that runs most of the length of the pack I can then see stays rnn8ng horizontally within there only containment looks to be two stays. Well thought out pocket system to organize items.

I'm considering this pack and also the stone glacier avail 2200 since I already have a some glacier pack and frame. Has anyone used both of these packs and if so, what are your thoughts?

I started with the smaller and sent it back and got the 2200. It’s my gym bag and plane travel bag, it’s a very well laid out bag. The frame sheet and stays are a great bonus, but it’s a none adjustable torso so while the ridgeness is nice, unless you have a shorter torso it’s looses some function IMO. If I wanted a daybag with some ump, I’d look at the MR popup.

I have the venture 1800 and with the internal stays it's perfect for a whitetail day hunting pack. I'm in the northeast
