Kuiu Tiburon Pants

same as attcacks on waist size and general fit....a bit more slim overall but not a ton.

I have a pair of kutanas that are a good bet in terms of durability but they are definitely warmer than the tiburons. If you are actually planning to hunt in the tiburons they will not last long at all. I have no interest in babying pants when I am hunting. They are however nice for anything other than hunting.

It is tough to beat a pair of the wrangler atg for the price, durability and comfort in warm weather. If I could go back I would not have purchased the tiburons especially for $149

I have two pairs. One ripped on some deadfall down around the ankle, took a solid right angle "L" shape out. Tenacious taped on both sides and that area has held up fine since on multiple trips and a few wash cycles.

Fantastic hot weather pant. I tried the First Lite competitor and it was way too tight around my thighs, but the Corrugates fit me fine. The Attacks were similar, too tight in the thighs. If you're on the thicker thighs side of things, the Tiburons should fit.

I also got the FL Trace, snug in the thighs and pulling on hips with strides - standing they fit great, hiking not so much. So with the Tiburon do you have the same size and do they have more hip room or better gusseting to make hiking less restrictive? Or just more room in the thigh? On sale, so tempting...

I wear a 32/30 in athletic fit jeans. I went 34/short in the Tiburons to make sure I have plenty of room in the thighs and seat. Not restrictive at all for hiking.

Love my Tiburons and find them holding up just fine. The ventilation really works, and they have solid features. I'm 5'11", 175lbs, and the 34 Regulars fit well.

I have a pair of the Tiburons in green 38Waist 34 Length that are in excellent condition. They fit more like 36WX33L so the fit is not right for me . I will be selling these.

A little too fragile you would have to baby them so they wont tear. I find the Orvis tech pant from Costco for $15 and the Wrangker flex cargo pants for $30 they all are similar weight and as breathable for a lot less money. Don’t get me wrong for hot weather Tiburons are awesome they are a little expensive and fragile.
I can attest to this as I have the Wrangler Outdoor performance Pants and Tiburon. While there is a noticeable weight difference with Kuiu(150)being lighter and more breathable, faster drying. But in comparison the wranglers(30) are very comparable in weight and material. Durability is about the same. I also have a pair of Sitka Ascent(200). They are basically the same as the Tiburon but are actually a tad lighter. In my opinion go with the Wranglers unless you get a good deal on Tiburon. You can literally buy 5 for the price of 1 and if you hiking or hunting in a little tougher environment, you won’t feel bad losing $30. Losing 150 on the other hand, no fun. I recommend the Wranglers to just about anyone for lightweight and hot hunting. It just makes sense and you can spend the savings on something else.

Tiburons are great, I’ve had 4-5 pairs of them. I have the FL pants as well and like them fine, wear them often, but the Tiburons are the best breathing pant out there that I have tried.

You shouldn’t expect a whole lot in terms of durability on any of these types of pants. I get 2 years out of a pair (usually with some repairs) before the butt and knees are falling apart. That’s wearing them all summer with lots of rock exposure and willow busting in the high country + some bear hunting in September.

Don’t go sitting down on any textured granite -the rough grain will rip a hole in your butt with just a slight amount of friction. -learned that lesson twice.

Tiburons are ok. They are indeed a little fragile for wear. I got a few holes already after a season worth of stalks. Another issue is the material is so breathable all the dirt and dust get in them real easy like. Not as bad as the UA ridge reaper perforated light pants but not too far off.

Bummer. I guess I have sensory issues or something because I cant stand the fabric on tiburons. Was hoping the trace would be a little different, more comfortable.
Could give the outdoor vitals a try. Very stretchy, comfortable and breathable. Closer to the FL but more room in the thighs and rear.

How many stocks is a season’s worth? I usually just stick to one on each rifle…
