Hey yall! I've been looking around at hot weather hunting pants for quite a while. I was wondering what the general consensus is on KUIU Tiburon pants.

I have quite a few of their products, and have had no complaints whatsoever.

Any opinions would be strongly appreciated!

They are legit. I wear out roughly a pair every year..but that’s a ton of use. Been wearing them since the early Kuiu days and I’m not aware of a better warm weather option.

A little too fragile you would have to baby them so they wont tear. I find the Orvis tech pant from Costco for $15 and the Wrangker flex cargo pants for $30 they all are similar weight and as breathable for a lot less money. Don’t get me wrong for hot weather Tiburons are awesome they are a little expensive and fragile.

Best hot weather pant I have found. I haven't had any issues with durability, but I am conscious of where I am walking when I am wearing them. Highly recommend the Tiburon pant!

Same here. The Cost co. Orvis pant is pretty good. It just doesn't match that fancy camo pattern on the shirt.

They are nice in the heat but anything with a point goes right through them including mosquitos. If the AZ variants can get through, I'd hate to see what northern varieties do.

I just use the Kutanas since there is a point where it does not matter as all pants suck.

I love them, they're fragile compared to some others, but worth it. I have my pair from 2019 and my wife has sewed a few rips and they are still going. They have a few rips now where they rub my boot and I'm going to get her to sew a thicker material cuff around the bottom few inches and should get another year or two. Waiting on them to go on sale so I can get another pair.

I'm in the minority here and couldn't stand the feel of the fabric. I dunno, I guess I have sensory issues or whatever but I sold them.

My warm weather pant of choice is the kutana. I also have some sitka ascents that I like but they don't have thigh vents.

For me Kutana's are nice but way warmer than Tiburons. The fit is much snugger on the Kutana as well. I like the Tibrons and their loose fit best for hot weather.

If I get a hole or a wear through spot I just cut out an iron on patch to size and iron it on from the inside. I don't find them that fragile though. Still have my original pair. They aren't pretty but still totally functional.

Anecdotal, but I’ve torn the Kutanas much more easily than the Tiburon. The Tiburons will pull a bit more easily for me (thornbrush etc), but I haven’t had a tear yet.

I think they are a great warm weather pant. Dries quickly too.
