Specifically looking at the pants. Both are same weight, but the Grumman has more oz of fill. Just curious if anyone has tried both

haven't tried the pants but have had both jackets. Both amazing. I chose superdown pro because its more durable 15D versus 30D so double fabric thickness. The pants have the same fabric so I would say durability goes to super down pro.

I haven’t been around the kuiu much, have a few buddies that love theirs. I have had the SG for awhile, and it packs down great and is super warm. Like stated above has a pretty thin material and have had a few small tears. I feel like you can’t go wrong either way, all down coats seem to tear sooner or later!

I have a Kuiu Superdown Jacket, but have not tried the pants. The material is definitely thin and will tear, but if you layer over it you can protect it. It packs down to nothing and is very warm.

I’ve not tried the pros, but the standard superdown fabric is quite a bit less awesome than the y-fuse stuff SG uses. It’s simply better at containing down and resisting tears in my experience.
