KUIU Super Down Pro Sizing

Looking at picking up this jacket. I have always had trouble with KUIU sizing. The Kenia XL was way big on me. I’m 6’ 190.

i think the xl in both will fit about the same….. only a guess but here’s why I think so:

Right there with you on the kenai. It’s big. Wish I had a large instead of xl since I use it as a mid layer. It works, but large wouldn’t be so much fluff as you prob know already.

I ordered the XL pro yesterday having tried on a large when they came to our gun show recently. The large Pro fit well over a tee and a light quarter zip fleece. I want to use the pro as an outer over whatever base, mid, soft shell combo I use when sitting a while, then strip it off and stow it when moving around again. Hilly terrain and out all day for our late muzzle loader in upstate NY. So periods of heavy travel then long sits in zero degrees is normal.

anyway, i think your xl kenai and an xl pro should be roughly the same. Can tell you Friday for sure but prob too late by then.

Get a Large. I went down a size and I'm an XL in all their other tops. I'm 5'11. 215

I purchased the Super Down Pro in a size large. I'm 5' 10" 180lbs and the jacket seems to fit big even with several layers underneath.

I’m 5’-9” 185. Got a 42” chest. Chest measurement is most critical on this piece

Data point. I'm 6'3" 200 lbs and I wear an xl in the SD pro. Its maybe just slightly on the baggy side but I wanted that to allow for layering underneath.

You will def be good with the Large. Received my XL. It works for my use over everything with room to spare. 5’-6” 190 42” chest.
