Bump, curious how this set has been for the guys wearing it.
Can anybody compare this set to the FL solitude?
I swapped my Solitude for this kit. Love FL, but didn’t like the Sanctuary at all for bow hunting and the Solitude just didn’t cut it on truly cold, and especially windy days. I am really liking this kit, the wind protection alone is a revelation. Jacket packs into my daypack, and it’s impressively warm. I stopped by Scheels to put hands on the Core and I still wouldn’t change. There is a temp range between my catalyst kit and this that I haven’t hit the sweet spot in, but this kit is what I needed for bow hunting MN & WI into December

What are your thoughts with a few more weeks of colder weather now?

Couldn’t be happier. Hunted some pretty cold conditions, -10 with wind and continue to be impressed with how well it retains body heat. Layering with wick merino, kiln, and grid fleece (Klamath). Also hiked in further than normal and the ability to keep everything in a single day pack (platform & sticks included) is a big win in my opinion.

Sounds all positive. My only complaint I see is I wish the leg zips were completely top to bottom to so I could fully butterfly them and put them on without getting mud in the torso from my boots.
