It’s your choice, but I tried the Quick Draw, but I much prefer the Gun Bearer from Kifaru.

Yeah, I have been considering that. Its in stock too. My rifle is pretty long - 28” barrel with the brake. I heard it can be a PITA trekking up steep hills with the Kifaru.

The Kifaru - IMHO...is the better choice. The adjustability makes it easy for you to adapt it to longer or shorter rifles. A smart, simple design.

The Kifaru actually hangs lower than the Kuiu. I’ve used the Gun Bearer with a 28, 26, & 24” barrels. Haven’t really noticed a difference.

If you want the kuiu rifle quick release, be patient. If not, try until you find what you like. I use it and it really like it. I just don’t like the feel of hiking with it in front of my body with the Kifaru. Personal I guess. I have not used it so I don’t know it you if you can run it behind the shoulder as well, but it sure is easy and nice to slide my rifle out of the kuiu quick release. Never feel like I’m muzzling anyone in front of me while hiking.

Get the kifaru gun bearer. I’ve had both and the Kuiu one is a joke.
