I got a pair of Swaro EL 10x42s that need a bino harness. I was set on the FHF but I use Kuiu camo so I was looking at their gear on the Labor Day sale. Has anyone had both of these harnesses? If so which did you prefer? I’m finding it hard to justify the extra price of the FHF bino harness which would roughly be $60 more than the KUIU

I just recently got the Kuiu Pro G3 and I hate it. Tough to work one handed. Hate the lid. Going back to my old Alaskan Guide

I have the kuiu pro and love that thing. My only other expense was the vortex one that came free with binos. This is night and day different.

Had a Kuiu pro for my Razor UHD’s, and it was great. But the fabric did seem to deteriorate after a few years, idk why. Also, other than my UHD’s, it wasn’t really shaped to fit any Bino particularly well.

I’m a huge fan of the FOB, and it’s what I have now. I’ve owned 2 marsupials and wanted to love them. Heck, I was the guy who railed against the FOB for just being a copycat of the marsupial. But dangit, it just fits my Maven B6’s too well to argue. I’m a huge fan. It’s well made and comfortable as well.

I’m a huge believer in “buy the best harness for your binos.” So many people buy an AGC or a Kuiu because X-number of people say it’s great. But truthfully, all harnesses are cut as “one size fits most,” and inevitably some just DONT fit certain binos, even if the sizing charts say they should. I would buy several different ones, test fit your binos, and return the one that doesn’t work. I currently have Maven B6 10x50’s, and I tried them in a Kuiu Pro, AGC Ravus, Marsupial, and the FHF FOB. The FHF is perfect for those binos, but may not be for others. Test fit several and go with whichever fits your binos best.
